brainstorming or working session in which new proposals for collaborations arose. The participants presented their ideas during the expert meetings, with Powerboat supporting them. Together with the experts, they took the ideas to a higher level. Networks were expanded, young people were involved in the plans and a Sing-a-long was realized. In ‘De Cultuurfabriek’ (the culture factory), people sang and danced, built and consulted, discussed and collaborated during the Powerlabs Lansingerland. During the kick-off, various people were invited with diverse experience, expertise, function and background. Under the leadership of the Powerboat method, they entered the first Powerlab to come up with new ideas for culture in Lansingerland. Powerboat stimulated the participants to provoke reactions. The responses from the participants provided a lot of information that was read and observed. Powerboat guided and led the participants towards a

POWERLAB NORTH SERIES

POWERLAB NORTH SERIES

View the Night in North website here and the Powerlab North Series website here.

The reason for the Powerlab North Series was the developments that were taking place in Rotterdam North. A lot would change and be built, and if we wanted art and culture, greenery and entrepreneurship to play an essential role in this, we had to put together a group of people who were pioneers in this.

The purpose of the powerlabs was to find a group of people willing, actively involved and to spend time together to determine the agenda and gain influence.

We wanted a vibrant North, where people know each other, people help each other and want to do something bigger than themselves. We also wanted to make everything that is already happening in Noord more visible, so that we know where to go and who to talk to.

The Artinfuse Foundation and Powerboat have jointly devised four powerlabs, or laboratory projects, which can all be the starting point for a positive development in North. The Powerlab North Series!

TOUR DU NORD

TOUR DU NORD

Tour du nord: LOOKING FOR THE BEAUTIFUL, SPECIAL SIDE OF ROTTERDAM NORTH

The borough of North asked us to offer something special to the residents of North during their New Year's reception in Blijdorp Zoo.

The borough wanted to hear from the residents in North what was going on in a positive and negative sense. For this we devised Route du Nord. During the day at the zoo we collected information in a special way: flying dogs, do you want to borrow me a bike, be freed by the lumberjack and a real wishing well.

We then analyzed the information. From the answers to the question what is the most beautiful place in Noord, we have made a cycling route. We presented this during Bruisend Noord by walking a small part of the route and doing small interventions with the public at special places.

CITY STAGE

CITY STAGE

city-stage: PERFORMANCE for the guard behind the camera

City-Stage is a workshop for young people about physical privacy. The goal is to make a short film. What would you like to say to the guard looking at all the images from the surveillance camera? Think up a crazy, activating or exciting scene of up to 4 minutes and film it with a film camera.

After the workshop, the young people went to the Glas about mental privacy show. And then we all watched the videos.
